How do I book a close up magician for my event?
You can book my magician services by submitting an enquiry via my contact form. After discussing your event details, I will provide a booking agreement and request a deposit to secure the slot in my calendar. The remaining balance is typically settled shortly before the day of the performance.
How much does a professional magician cost?
My professional performances typically cost between £500 and £1500 depending on your event’s location, date, and performance type. Midweek or local events can be cheaper, while weekend dates or add-ons increase the investment. Budgeting at least £500 ensures you secure a high-quality, reliable performer. Which areas do you cover?
I provide magic entertainment nationwide across the UK. I am based in Staffordshire which means I’m ideally located to cover most of the country. I frequently perform in Birmingham, Nottingham, Shrewsbury, Manchester, and London, but as one of the top magicians for hire in the UK, I am often asked to travel further afield. Distance is never an issue, and in fact, each year I perform at a few international events too.
How far in advance should we hire a magician?
It’s never too early to secure a magician for your event. I’ve found most clients hire me about 3 – 6 months in advance, but if it’s a key date that can’t change then some clients hire me up to 2 years ahead of their event.
What entertainment can you provide for large events?
If you’re holding an event with 150 + guests, then I can co-ordinate additional close up magicians to work alongside me. I’m well connected in the magic industry, and know all of the top professionals. Bonus: I’ll do all the organising, and logistics with them, so that you get maximum entertainment, zero stress.
What setup or equipment is required for your entertainment?
For my close up magic options, I require zero technical setup or extra space, as everything I need is carried on me. For stage performances, I can discuss this before booking, but always provide a clear technical rider so your organising team can make sure everyone can see and hear the magic.
Can your services be tailored to a specific event theme or brand?
Yes, I can easily adapt my magic entertainment to incorporate your corporate branding, product messaging, or specific wedding/party themes. We can discuss your goals during the booking process to make sure custom elements blend seamlessly into the performance.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. I hold full Public Liability Insurance (PLI), organised for me by Equity (the performing artist’s union). I can provide a copy of my certificate to you or your venue coordinator upon request.
