MANCHESTER MAGICIAN

There are many types of magic from close up magic (aka. close hand magic), table magic, and stage magic. Fortunately, I've performed in a wide range of situations across my performing career, and so I can fit in to almost any event. The best thing to do is to get in touch for a quick chat about your event, and then I'll be able to guide you on what would work best.

I can even provide multiple performers. Most often this is for large events such as awards nights and conference dinners, howver one one occassion in the city centre of Manchester, a client simply wanted two styles of magic.

Both of us were specialists in close up performances, but as I had a little more experience, I decided that I would be the mind reader for the night. This was a great chance to share magic and mystery in a new way by constraining myself only to mind reading and mental style magic.

I've been performing as a magician in Manchester for over 20 years. Here's a really old (and slightly embarrassing video) from 2011, showing me performing some street magic, and bar magic in Manchester.

A quality close up magician should cost between £400 and £2000 depending on what's required and when your event is.

The lower end of that scale would apply for something quite simple, during the week, and the top end would probably be a large scale stage show during key date (such as Saturday nights in December).

Of course. In fact, some of the best events I've done are ones where I've received a special request. After all my job is to do the impossible!

Now, of course, it might mean an extra fee for my time creating and perfecting the trick, but many clients find it's worth it for the one of a kind experience.

Just recently, in fact, I received a rather unusual request for one event in Manchester. The client asked me to make a person appear!

The guest, who was the son of the main birthday guest , had flown in from New Zealand to the event in Prestwich, North Manchester. So, in case it wasn't obvious, I wasn’t actually materialising the person out of thin air, but rather making it seem like that was the case. It was all a grand illusion.

This was an interesting challenge and one that I was happy to incorporate into my stage show.
