Table Magic
Sitting down for Christmas dinner? Table magic is the perfect accompaniment. I’ll go from table to table, entertaining each group, sharing incredible close up magic, and comedy, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. We can even round everything off with a larger performance to the whole group.
Walkaround Magic
Another very popular option at Christmas parties is walkaround magic, or mix and mingle magic. This is where I meet guests and share incredible close up magic with them, bringing them together over shared moments of amazement, and laughter. This type of magic works really well for the start of a Christmas party, when everyone is getting a drink at the bar, or for more informal celebrations like a family party.
After Dinner Show
An after dinner show, or group performance is a great way to add the WOW factor to your Christmas party. This type of magic performance requires a bit of extra planning, but it means I can present some of my most carefully layered routines, with jaw dropping magic, and a level of spectacle not possible with close up. I perform magic at Christmas parties across the whole of the UK.
Recently I’ve found that many of them have been in London, and I’m ore than happy to travel to London for a Christmas party.
However I’m based closer to Birmingham, and perform here more often.
Some of the other common locations I perform at for Christmas events are:

I honestly believe that a Christmas party magician is the best entertainment. I might be biased but a quality magician interacts with your guests bringing the party to life with laughter, conversation and, of course, incredible magic!
As mentioned above there are few performance styles to choose from.
Close up magic, aka. close magic or close hand magic, can be split into table magic (not magic with tables, but magic at the table), and walkaround magic (where the magician mixes with guests while they are standing).
An after dinner cabaret show aka. stage magic, can either be a stand alone thing, eg. a 20 minute to 45 minute show, or it can be an extra, a coda, to the close up magic. That’s a popular choice so that you get the best of both worlds.
A quality close up magician can cost between £450 and £2000 during December (prices accurate for 2026). The cheaper rates can be found for midweek events in early December, and prices will most likely rise for events on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. There’s never any obligation to book when you reach out to me, so it’s always worth getting in touch for an accurate quote.
Short answer: Yes.
As you might expect the price for New Year’s Eve is higher than my normal rate, and it is worth getting in touch well in advance, but yes, I can perform my close up magic for your New Year’s Eve Party.
