Ringwood Hall sits just a short drive outside Sheffield, and offers a scenic countryside backdrop for a wedding reception on a sunny day.
This particular booking came through a referral from a fellow Sheffield magician who was already booked. Being well connected across the magic community means I often swap work or coordinate larger teams, giving couples total peace of mind when booking trusted entertainment.
Out on the lawn, I moved between standing groups to perform mix-and-mingle magic during the drinks reception, followed by table-to-table mind reading and visual magic during the wedding breakfast.

Magic at IKEA ‽
Performing at an annual Midsommar event at IKEA Sheffield was certainly one of the more unusual bookings on my calendar.
This event took place after hours in the store’s cafe, which had been closed off specifically for a private evening event hosted for staff and invited guests.
Working in an intimate dining space allowed for a very personal approach. Relying on real-time conversation rather than set routines, I moved between the tables, bringing small groups together with magic, close up magic, and Swedish meatballs. The perfect combination for Midsommar!
This was a family event so it was great to be able to provide entertainment that bought together people from all generations, and backgrounds.
That’s one of the great things about close up magic. It’s flexible enough to be tailored to the group in front of me. As my magic isn’t a static performance, I read the room and adapt to whatever the event is, from luxury weddings, corporate conferences, or some a family party.
