Close up Magician for Corporate Events in Sheffield
Corporate events can sometimes feel a bit formal, but this particular evening in the heart of Sheffield was anything but business as usual. What made this booking stand out was that everyone really got into the magic, and an extra surprise I’ll mention in a moment.
This was an event I had performed at previously – a conference with a long day of meetings and talks. My magic during the evening cocktail reception / buffet was an opportunity for delegates to relax, and mix in an informal setting.
I moved between groups performing close up sleight of hand magic and mind reading, but the highlight of the night, for me however, was completely unexpected. It actually happened to be my birthday that night (my work never stops!), and the organisers had caught wind of that.
In a lovely moment of hospitality, they presented me with a birthday card and small gift. It’s rare to feel like a guest of honour while also making others feel the same, but for me it’s a sign that my repeat clients and I have something more than just a transactional relationship, we also enjoy catching up when the event rolls round again.

University Ball Magician in Sheffield
For this Sheffield University prom, the organiser was clear they needed a magician who could handle a large, boisterous crowd. I don’t work from a script, but instead read the room and react in real time, so this was perfect for me.
I packed in my top magic, and my sharpest improvised comedy, and the night was a success, with my magic a contributing factor to that. Although yes props to the organisers, as everything else was smoothly run too!

Wedding Magician at Ringwood Hall, Chesterfield
Just a short drive from Sheffield, Ringwood Hall remains one of my favourite venues for a wedding, especially on a perfect, sunny day like this one.
This particular wedding was a referral from another Sheffield magician who was unavailable – a gesture I truly appreciated. I’m well connected within the magic industry which means I’m able to return the favour, or organise multiple magicians for larger events.
The house and its stunning gardens provided the perfect backdrop for my upbeat mix and mingle magic during the drinks reception on the lawn, and then table to table magic during the wedding breakfast.
With the sun shining and guests relaxing outdoors the setting was ideal for my jaw dropping visual magic, mind bending mentalism, and interactive comedy.
